Update on Harimedia and Hari (me)

I have been reading the texts in this plea to get me to continue to broadcast and appreciate everyone's thoughts. However, I have really said all that I can say through the broadcast medium. It was a lot of stress for me to come up with new topics each week and to handle all the technical affairs surrounding this broadcast. I am not sure if you all know this, but I am the main tech guy here. Just this forum alone takes days of work to maintain especially when there is an update to the forum (and I have to take care of the updates in the Russian forum too -- in Russian I might add! No easy task for me...) and there are bugs in all these programs. But this is not the point of this text.
I had a really good time on my last trip to Russia. I liked speaking to real people and loved playing music there. In the last year I have mainly been interacting with real people (not virtual people) and I like this much better. I know you people are not virtual, you really do exist but you are to me at best a little box on my screen within which there are really tiny images of what should be people and at worst an idea since I do not even know who is listening. I have opportunities to travel again this spring to Russia (or even a bit further?) and Argentina and I am looking forward to this.
I did not start Harimedia to be centered around me. The original and ongoing intention was for it to be a central place where like-minded spiritualists could discuss and communicate. For me, the idea of mutual sharing is very important. That is why I always wanted to have interaction in my broadcasts. I wanted them to be arenas for sharing. Unfortunately, this did not work out. The reality of the viewers all being non-native english speakers or not at all english speakers dampened this idea. How do you interact with people who are struggling to speak a language, feel self-conscious about it, or who have no idea how to express themselves generally or who cannot do it briefly? There are very, very few who can handle interacting with me in live mode due to this impossible to overcome language barrier. Using a translator in both directions for anything other than translating questions is impossible and also terribly boring.
Therefore I cooked up the idea of a web site based on divine harmony and I even was right there at the front of the line when the .eu domain opened and I registered divineharmony.eu. Due to the energy of Olesya and Siva, this project has some legs and finally we are working to manifest an interactive community that shares what they know with each other in a meaningful manner. We videoed some round table discussions (as we called them as there were three or four of us sitting around a table and talking) and they were surprisingly good. The idea was that there would be more of these done by groups of harimedia people and especially by others all over the net world.
Any endeavor that revolves around one person has to be a failure and I do not care how important or powerful that one person is. Any long lasting significant community must be a cooperative effort. I will certainly be part of that effort and will always contribute whatever knowledge and skills I have to the group and to the individuals within the group. I love to do this. For me, social interaction is important as I am a people person and cannot work alone. When I work alone I end up doing just practical things as I am not inspired otherwise. For example, musically I am insignificant alone, but when I work with Siva standing next to me I am inspired to do anything. This is why it is important for me to travel to see others as there is no one around where I live that I work with.
So to conclude, I am most interested to see how you all pick up the idea and run with it! Divine Harmony can be a really great thing, but it needs you.
As far as my lectures, I have already said most of what can be said. You are invited to listen again.
I am most interested to be part of some social development or communal endeavor where we create a community of people who do something fun and significant together. I have a lot of experience with this and one thing I know for certain that any endeavor in this direction depends on many people, not one. Therefore, I have stepped aside and will remain aside till I see others have stepped up. I do not see any other way to do it. I simply refuse to be the center of attention or the primary focus. I can be a CEO but when I act as a CEO I work to facilitate your endeavors and accomplishments by assisting you find the way to do what you can do best.
Lots of love to you. -- Hari
