Well, niab, what do you think? What is your personal opinion and realization? Are you allowed to have a personal opinion? Are you allowed to go out and get your own realizations or are you in a subtle way somehow restricted from doing so because of what you have heard is right or wrong?

There is a second thread running through this complex forum topic: "People have accused you of many things and silence means consent. If these things are true, then you were not acting properly. If these things are not true then you should reply to them as they hurt not only you, but others.&qu...

I am very happy that our forum posters have intelligently separated the concept of "blame" from the concept of "responsibility." As kadren properly stated, there is no use in blaming anyone for anything, neither in judging or condemning anyone for the past. When we consider tha...

Dear Kadren I did not invite anyone to discuss such topics in this website. I created this forum when some started posting texts relating to ISKCON topics. A few persons said I should delete them but I decided to create this forum instead. It was not meant as an invitation; rather, it was a place to...

I have read these texts in this thread. It is impossible to comment on all these things and even harder to come up with a generalized statement that covers everything. I could say nothing, make a brief statement or try to explain something. Here is my attempt to say something. I did not want to allo...

Just because you are a seeker of the truth does NOT mean that you have no purpose in your search. Who can object if you are seeking out connection to and relationship with the Supreme as your declared purpose and goal of life? It is great to have such a clear idea of what you want and even better to...

It is great that you were blessed to see the angels, even if only partially. Some people cannot see them as clearly as you report. However, they are there and can be seen by opening your awareness to them and accepting them as they are without trying to make them into some form that fulfills our ide...

It is very hard to say exactly what is happening to another person when they do meditations. Here is a very general answer: When you do a meditation where you become aware of a particular part of the body, such as the hands or feet, it is natural that one will powerfully feel the flow of blood throu...

Re: Dear Harikesa

Dear Sir, SSJP das There is no doubt that you are upset with many things. I am definitely sorry that you feel so hurt. Let me reply to some of your points. I never said there is no need for teachers. I said there is no need of ‘gurus’ in the distorted sense of the word. There is a big difference, bu...

I appreciate your doubt very well for it has been echoed by many who find reconciling such statements difficult. However, if one sees things slightly differently, it becomes easier to understand how it is not only relevant in our own lives but an essential factor. Those who follow a traditional path...

Certainly I agree with what was quoted but sometimes making an adjustment means to leave aside something which is the cause of a problem. I do not agree with the idea that a complete change is improper simply because it rejects that which came before it. For example, medical science made a complete ...

Now I will touch another problem connected with dying. The immortal or endless nature of one's existence seems to me (as I try to imagine this) as petrifying as the perspective of terminating the present life. Is it this feeling that lies behind the will to stop existence by becoming void or one? I...

I am not sure what you want me to say about your text. Sure mantras are good, especially when you vibrate them with powerful intentions. And sure, there are higher beings that certainly care about us and offer us protection. Are you trying to somehow justify the fear you felt? There is no need to do...

Dear Akhilaji I recommend that you read two books by Michael Newton, Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls, for these books give you some detailed glimpses into the scenario that can be experienced at death. What is written there does not seem to be the complete and total understanding of what h...

I understand your dilemma. How can you discuss topics of which you have not got a clear understanding of when you are not simply repeating something you have heard or read? If you engage in a discussion with someone and they propose something that you ‘know' is not complete or is incorrect, on what ...
