Introduction
Harimedia.net
This is the authoritative information about the live and recorded broadcasts of Hari, Robert Campagnola. At 10:00 EST or EDT on the first and third Saturday of each month (unless he is travelling), Hari will meet face to face with some selected cities around the world while broadcasting the video and audio of this conference to anyone wishing to see it. Please be aware that the US and the EU have different policies regarding seasonal time changes. Please look at the NEWS section on the front page of Harimedia for the latest information and schedule of the broadcasts.

Unless specifically arranged between other countries, the discussions will include a simultaneous, real-time Russian translation coming from St. Petersburg. The topics discussed are many and varied. User input is not only welcome, but also an integral part of the interactive communication. Using a unique video conferencing program created by Tom Grandgent, Hari speaks from Florida, USA, and his translator responds in real-time from Russia. Hari then broadcasts this discussion all over the world. You may find detailed instructions on installing and running the players required to access the broadcasts below. If you still have questions refer to the Frequently Asked Questions section of the forums.

PC users should use Nulsoft's Winamp player to view the broadcasts. If you don't have winamp you can download it here

Mac OS X users shoud go to VideoLAN's website to download the VLC player for Mac here. When you go to their site they will recognize your computer platform and offer you the latest version for that platform. Open the image and drag the application to your applications folder.

The video is streaming at around 160kbps, but it can vary. To view the video you must have at least a basic high-speed Internet connection (cable or DSL).

PC Users: To join the video broadcast:

1.Run the Winamp player
2.Go to the File menu
3.Choose Play URL
4.Enter the following in the box provided or simply click on this link:
http://video.harimedia.tv:8200/;stream.nsv

The stream should load automatically. If not, press the play button. If it stops prematurely, hit the play button again.
If this link does not open the video stream, you either do NOT have winamp properly installed or winamp is not configured to automatically open .nsv files. In this case, open winamp manually and do steps 2-4 above without clicking on the link. To keep the connection alive, try hitting the loop button. When you hover your mouse over it, it will say "Toggle Playlist/Song Repeating." This will help keep the connection alive.

Mac OS X Users: To join the video broadcast:

1. Open the VLC player.
2. Go to the File menu.
3. Go to Open Network
4. Choose under the network setting, HTTP/FTP/MMS/RTSP.
5. Type in or copy into the URL section, http://video.harimedia.tv:8200/;stream.nsv

It will open the broadcast after 20-30 seconds or so. It is a very nice player and can be used for any other type of media as well. It is free and open source.

To join the audio only broadcast:

The audio only broadcast is streaming at speeds suitable for any dial-up modem connection. At present it is around 24kbps Stereo. To hear the broadcast as audio only do all the same steps described above but use the following URL instead:
http://audio.harimedia.tv:8100/listen.pls

You can see a flash video guide on how to balance the speaker output in Winamp here! This guide makes it very clear how to hear the lecture properly.

While watching the broadcast you can choose to hear the lecture with the Russian translation or you can listen only to Hari by setting the balance all the way to one side. To change the balance in Winamp, click on the little text 'config' which is just to the right of the volume slider. When that window opens, just under the play button, there is a slider. Now it is set to the middle. If you move it to the left, you will only hear Hari, if you move it to the right, you will only hear the translator. If the sides are switched, you have your speakers configured backwards or your headphones reversed. If you wish to hear only a little of Hari and a lot of the translator, move the slider part way to the right till you have the desired mix.

Mac OS X users can now access both the video and audio broadcasts. Mac OS X users should click on the same link as the PC users above and when a small file appears in your default download directory (it will be called, listen.pls) click on it to open iTunes to connect to the audio broadcast. You can also listen with Quicktime through the menu item File --> Open URL and enter: icy://audio.harimedia.tv:8200 and the broadcast will open.

To control the right left-balance (to hear only English, for example) in the VLC player, one goes to the Audio Menu, then to the Audio Channels sub-menu and then choose either Left or Right, depending on the language you want to hear, or Stereo to resume hearing both channels.

Anyone during the lecture can contact Hari to offer feedback, ask questions, make comments, or to just say Hi using MSN or Windows messenger. Mac users without instant messenging may use Microsoft Messenger or (better) Adium.
If you don't have MSN messenger you can download it here

For using MSN messenger:
1.Install the program.
2.Enter a valid email address and a user name.
3.Contact Hari at kamala_hari@hotmail.com so he can place you in his contacts list.
4.Instant message him that you are watching. You can also instant message questions or comments about the video you are watching at appropriate times.

Have fun, spread the word about this, and come up with good discussion points

The broadcasting usually starts at about 10:00 in Florida, which is: 15:00 GMT, 18:00 in Moscow and St.Petersburg, or 13:00 Buenos Aires.

We will experience our being by loving without fear, without expectation, without attachment, without demands, and without judging ourselves or others. We shall accept life as it is, in conscious awareness of ourselves and the universe that we are co-creating. We shall be the wonderful and powerful spiritual forces of good we are.
